This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.• Evaluate levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty• Identify clients’ goals for treatment• Create and carry out an individualized treatment plan that addresses specific functional needs• Teach clients how to make sounds, improve their voices, and maintain fluency• Help clients improve vocabulary and sentence structure• Work with clients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow• Counsel clients and their families on how to cope with communication and swallowing disordersQualifications/Skills:• Licensed by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification is required.• All experience levels are encouraged to apply.Benefits:• Final pay and benefits will be discussed during the interview process at offer/hire.If you are a dedicated SLP looking for a rewarding career opportunity in Montebello, CA, we encourage you to apply today!
